Finally tried this one, and was pretty pleased with it overall. Light copperish to deep golden in color. Smell is not terribly strong, but mostly floral hops aroma. Beer starts out smooth and silky on the palate. Some hops kick in, but not a tremendous amount. Was light and silky and went down easy.

As far as APA's go, I really liked this one. It wasn't a hop-bomb and had good balancing malts. Most BA's who enjoy the strong APA's and IPA's may find this lacking, but the flavor and balance was good and the beer was very sessionable.

Pours a decent mid-copper color with good initial head, but no lacing to speak of. Nice light hoppy aroma, with slight citrus tones, above a nice sweetness. Nice hoppy flavor with nice American citrus bitter tones and a nice malty back (although a little more malt backbone would be better). Goes down very smoothly.

A: Pale Orange amber, with a nice white head

S: Not actually picking up a whole lot. A little sweet, and a little bit of yeast smell. Not really a lot of hops prevalent, especially considering that they list is as a Pale Ale.

T: A tart yeast taste comes out first, then a hop finish. Not quite as hoppy as you would think for a pale ale, but still drinkable.

M: Medium Bodied, carbonation good for the style.

D: Overall it is decent, but not amazing. A little stronger malt backbone, and a bit more hops would definitely make the difference.
