Keeping on the path of full flavored, craft beer, our Honey Cream Ale incorporates nearly four pounds per barrel of pure Appalachian honey, rather than adjuncts like corn or rice. The result is a light, crisp, slightly-sweet, session beer evenly balanced between smooth malt, a hint of floral hops, and honey sweetness.

Pours clear gold in color with minimal head. Taste is big honey and pilsner malt, grassy. Light bodied with moderate carbonation, slightly sweet. Makes for an above average highly drinkable beer.

Poured from a 12 ounce can into a pint glass. Head dissipated very quickly. Coloring was deep amber, probably due to the honey that is added (4 pounds per barrel, according to the brewer). First sip reveals a lightness and honey based sweetness that is tasty without being cloying. Crisp finish. Very good example of cream ale. Name is derived from the white blazes that mark the Appalachian Trail.

Poured from 12oz can into pint glass. Nice, clear honey color with a finger of cream colored head that quickly dissipated to a wide ring. Carbonation bubbles could be seen rising until finish. Pleasing honey aroma. Sweet to the taste but not overpowering as one might fear with honey in the name. Smooth finish. Overall an enjoyable beer that I believe is the flagship for this brewery. I definitely would recommend.

Poured from can into a glass. Nice amber color, solid cream ale with a little bit of sweetness from the honey. A pleasing beer that is easy to drink and worthwhile checking out. Not something I always have on hand but one I don't mind picking up every now and then.

A pleasant surprise. I'd never had beer from this company before. The mention of honey in the description gave me concern that this would be too sweet, but it was not. The honey was a mild addition to the nose and taste but not overbearing, and the overall impression was of a refreshing slightly hoppy ale. Color was honey, with an off-white head, pretty substantial though not too durable. Nose not too big, of yeast, malts, some hops, and just a suggestion of honey. Taste nicely balanced; IBU is listed as only 17 on the can but the hoppy bitterness is clear and balances well with the remainder of the flavors. Mouthfeel clean, leaves me wanting more.
Poured from can. ABU on my can listed at 4.6% rather than the 5% reported in description above. Can bottom read "CANNED ON 01/12/2016"

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. Appearance- a slightly clear light brown color a small off-white head. Aroma- a great honey aroma with some malt and bread come through. Taste- a really appealing honey flavor with some citrus and malt really give this an excellent flavor. This is an outstanding cream ale. Highly recommended.

Poured from a can into a shaker pint, the beer is an opaque, hazy, caramel coloring, with a foamy, low profile, off-white head. Aromas of subtle honey sweetness, roasted notes, subtle caramel, and a bready backbone. Flavors are sweet and roasted forward, honey sweet and rich, with tangy cream notes, and hints of char. Smooth, mid-bodied, with a tangy sweet aftertaste. Smooth, light finish. Good warm weather beer.

Honey nut brown with a pure white head. White bread, honey, toasted caramel, crisp malts and grass in the nose. Taste has a smoke/roast to it that distracts, but otherwise the same. Very crisp body, clean, almost pilsner like in a way, medium bodied
