Pours a hazy murky brown with burgundy highlights. Nice two finger khaki head that falls slowly and laces well.
Aroma is lightly subdued for a big beer. Good sweet malty backbone, light dark fruits , light alcohol notes underneath it.
Taste is nice big sugary malt backbone, sugar coated figs, some good earthy spice notes. Alcohol notes through out the finish mingled with free floating sugars. All merges together for a nice malty treat.
Mouthfeel is a big medium with lots of free floating sugars. Nice medium mellow carbonation.
Overall a good big simple malty winter warmer. Defiantly will warm you up on a cold winter night.
