I was very pleased to see a Southern English Brown on tap.
This style is hard to find, and one of my favorites. This is a great example.
Aroma - Nice clean malty aroma with dark caramel, toffee, and chocolate. Low to Moderate fruit esters, and no hop aroma.
Appearance - Brown in color w/ very slight haze.
Flavor - Chocolate and toffee with a low amount of residual sweetness. Very well balanced, but leaning toward the malty side. No hop flavor (as it should be). Clean fermentation character with moderate esters.
Overall - Wow, I do love this style, and Wolf Hills nailed it.

Pours a brown with plenty of ruby hints, with big fluffy tan head that falls slow and leaves some nice sheet lace.
Aroma is nice lots of toasted malts with good nutty notes. Hits of peat or earthiness.
Taste is like the nose nice toasted malts good nutty notes like lightly burnt walnuts. Finish is dry with lingering light grapefruit like bitterness that even seems nutty.
Mouthfeel is light medium with smooth carbonation.
Overall nice toasty tasty treat.
