Just picked up growler today 9% alcohol 71 IBU's. Pours black little highlights when held to the light. Nice frothy brown head made up of small bubbles that falls slow and leaves tons of lace everywhere, on an aggressive pour.
Aroma is nice roasted malts loaded with big stout chocolates, lots of smooth chocolate notes. Underlying coffee notes with light citrus hop hints.
Taste is roasted goodness with nice sweet chocolate notes that last for while before moving to lightly bitter roasted coffee notes that linger into grapefruit rind like bitterness with touches of pine. Finish lingers forever a nice touch. An enjoyable stout defiantly hitting the spot tonight.
Mouthfeel is is smooth with good mellow carbonation, might be a touch to light for big stout but very enjoyable.
Overall finding it very enjoyable, favorable malty goodness with a good dose of hops in the finish
