Appearance: Bronze colored body with big, cream colored head
Aroma: Malty; biscuity; toffee; slightly hoppy
Taste: Juicy malt with a slightly bitter start; semi-dry, slightly bitter finish; pretty well balanced and tasty
Remarks: Did not score A, T, S, M at that time; disregard those scores

This dunkel poured very well with a large one finger light tan head with a clear rosey copper color.
It had a faint sweetness at first smell.
When it hit my tastebuds, it had a slight nuttiness to it at first then it ended with a slight bitterness at the back of my tongue.
For mouthfeel, this beer was very well carbonated, which gave me that full feeling after a couple of drinks.
This is an average dunkel that you could have with a meal, however there are much better dunkels out there.

Dachsenfranz Dunkel produces a good amount of light khaki colored head, with a nicely filtered black and ruby red colored body. The head goes away quickly and leaves behind little lacing.
Aroma character is light and moderately sweet in the way of licorice.
The taste is much more complex than I expected. I'm getting a charred like taste. There's sweetness, but I'm getting a weird kraut like taste here. It'd probably pair well with a dish with sauerkraut.
Feel wise, it's medium bodied with smooth crispness. It also has a slight powdery feel to it too.
Altogether not too bad, and is a bit more complex than other dunkels that I've had.
