Liechtensteiner Pils

I had this beer on-tap in a becher glass at the brewery in Schaan.

Appearance: medium golden hue with the tiniest little hint of haze and a lazy effervescence. Head is finger of frothy ivory foam.

Smell: soft, crackery malt with a little bit of hops and a very light cidery character. Nice, but could be a little cleaner.

Taste: much like the aroma, with crackery malt and a soft sweetness, and also with that hint of cideriness. The hops have a soft and grassy noble character. Aside from that cider note, it's quite nice.

Mouthfeel: medium light body but with a big carbonation and a good creaminess.

Overall: a tasty and refreshing pilsner, and it definitely pairs well with my meal.
