Poured from a 500ml bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a light amber colour with a white head and decent lacing as you drink down.
Smells slightly malty and yeasty but not too strong.
Tastes lovely, balanced everything really. Slight citrus in there too, but very slight.
Overall a lovely ale, albeit a bit pricey.

Appearance: Clear dark honey colour, with a soft creamy off-white head, with minimal carbonation.
Aroma: Heavy graininess, with dark malts, and lots of yeast. There is a slightly acidic lemon, along with winey grapes. Definite chocolate malts are also clear, with earthy notes.
Tastes: The flavours are earthy and rich, with subtle chocolate, and a slight whiskey peatiness. There is a sherbet taste emerging in the middle, along with mild diary characteristics.
Mouthfeel: Medium in body, a nice sparkly feel, and a clinginess.
Drinkability: Great good beer, nicely balanced flavours, and a superb feel. Will get this again.
