Can. Fun can artwork. A hoppy blonde ale. I actually wanted this to be less hoppy. It hit the same spot that many Session IPAs do with me. Hoppy but not enough base or even alcohol to justify the flavor. Didn't warm up favorably either.

From a 16 oz. can dated 07/24/17.
Looks: a typical blonde ale with a golden body and a moderate size white head. However, this has poor clarity.
Aroma: some light bread, grassy hops, and a little floral.
Flavor: also a mix of hops and grains with the hops a bit more dominant.
Feel: Light-medium body; modestly smooth; near medium carbonation.

From the large can, it pours a nice golden amber with a lovely head that sticks around a bit. A bit of bread in the nose. A light summery taste in the mouth. Easy drinking beer!

This is an easy drinking, light, summery pale ale. I don't normally drink pale ales but this one is delicious.

Poured into Pint Glass from draft
Pours a golden honey color. Darker than the normal blonde ale with little head but nice lacing on the glass.
Nose gets a lot of malts-bread, cracker, toasted bread. Nothing else.
Hoppy tasting up front with some floral and sweet characters in there. Finished with a cracker and slight bitterness.
Pretty carbonated and light bodied. Finishes clean with no film or stickiness.
Pretty good blonde ale. The flavors are there but I would like to have gotten more on the nose than what I can get. Overall a good beer. I'd order it again.

From the 16 oz. can dated 08/21/17. Sampled on November 16, 2017.
It looks like the typical blonde ale with a golden pour, excellent clarity, and a modest, lingering off-white head.
The aroma has a lovely catch-all of white bread, sourdough, biscuit, grass, and a little sweetness.
Light to medium body but smooth in texture.
The taste is also delightfully sweet and bready with a mild to moderate bitterness that finishes clean and crisp. A very easy drinking beer. I would get it again.

Narragansett Brewing Co. "Bancroft Up Or Down Ale"
16 fl. oz. can, "Canned 07/24/17..." and sampled on 10/31/17
$1.99 @ Total Wine & More, Cherry Hill, NJ
Notes via stream of consciousness: Interesting label with bright green and yellow colors, and a tennis theme, it looks kind of like a lemon-lime soda can. The pour brings up a massive head of bright white foam over a somewhat hazy golden body. The aroma is fresh and bright with malt and yeast (a touch of chalkiness, and some apple) and some hops - it's grassy/citrusy/lemony but I'm not particularly sure how to describe the rest of the character of the hops, gently herbal perhaps, and minerals like crushed granite. In any case it's welcoming but not fantastic. Moving on to the flavor, I'd say it follows. It's basic golden malt with some yeastiness and some lightly citrusy and herbal/grassy hops - very basic. A median bitterness balances it and it finishes mainly dry with a dollop of residual sweetish golden malt lingering and then eroding from the palate. It's medium-light in body and gently crisp... basically median across the board. Just a hint of lemon and some grassiness and mineral character livens it otherwise it would be any other basic American adjunct lager. Looking back, the head has held and there's some decent lacing left behind so at least there's that.

Pint can poured into a mason.
Appearance: Clear gold/yellow with a big puffy white head. Very beery looking.
Aroma: Grass, grains, hay, some mild funky type note.
Taste: Has a sharp hop/grass bite along with a nice malt backing. Somewhat of a tea type note. Apple, cereal.
Mouthfeel: Easy, but flavorful even at a low ABV.
Overall: Nice session ale. Doesn't sacrifice flavor for drinkability, but is very drinkable.

On tap on Warren, RI.
For what it's worth, mine was yellow vs amber, clear as a bell, and had minimal lacing.
Nicely done but not special.

Golden in color. Slightly hazy. Light, crisp and easy drinking. Nice hit of bitterness in the finish. A bit floral. Not bad. Crush these all day and night.
