16oz. Can served in a tumbler. Pours a lovely golden-orange hue with a slight haze to the clarity and a tight, half-inch, bright white head embedded with pinpricks and ringlets. Nose expresses notes of mandarin orange and pith. Taste follows nose with more intense herbal notes towards the back with a medicinal bite at the finish. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body with a pleasant, even carbonation and a slightly tangy acidity at the tail end. Overall, a fairly well put together example of the style.

From a 16oz can, dated 06/03/21. So, that’s like two and a half months ago, but purchased at the brewery just last week. Go figure. Served in a willi becher.
Pours a bright, sunshiney gold, only slightly hazed, and with a finger or so of soft soapy suds. Not much to speak of in the way of retention, just a fizzy little cap and a slippery sheet of thin lacing.
Nose is sweet and malty. Smelling orange peel and sugar.
Taste is sweet and malty, grainy, caramel malt and oily orange, with just the barest smidge of juniper-like bitterness on toward the finish, not nearly enough to provide any kind of balance.
Feel is smooth and slick, round, medium-full bodied with just barely adequate carbonation. Sugary slickness on the palate and a boozy warmth in the gullet.
In a nutshell, heavy and sweet. I suppose it might have been more interesting a couple of months ago.
