This one pours a slightly hazy golden straw yellow color, with a small head, and a lot of lacing.
This smells like hay, lemon, and a light grassiness.
This is lightly citrusy, not super hoppy, with some grassiness and light breadiness.
This fits the bill of a “summer crusher” for sure – there’s not much to it, but it’s crisp, clean, and easy drinking.
Even if they’re not the best beers, having a Ganser is always gonna make me happy.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a lightly hazed golden color with a small head of white foam. The head has a good level of retention, fading over time and leaving a bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heaviest of a bready and grainy smell mixed with notes of caramel and a bit of yeast. Along with these aromas comes a touch of herbal and earthy hop as well as a bit of lemon and spice.
Taste – The taste begins with a grainy and bready malt flavor that is lightly sweetened with a bit of caramel, pear, grape, and corn. As the taste advances hop flavors of a herbal and earthy nature join in, all the sweet fades a bit and the grainy gets stronger. With a touch of lemongrass and yeast developing along the way, one is left with a nice grainy and easy natured taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium to light with a high level of carbonation. Reat for the style and the feel and makes for a rather refreshing brew overall.
Overall – A rather easy drinking brew with a good taste and feel. As the name suggests, a summer brew.

As is tradition for Narragansett beers, I crushed the can in my fist and was shortly after eaten by a giant shark.

This is a review of a 12oz can from the Summer Variety Pack. From the bottom of the can: "C083 13 18:03"
Appearance: The body of the beer is a gold color which is medium-dark with a light hint of bronze. It is very hazy but dark shadows are visible through it which are somewhat crisp around the edges. It has a medium white head with a slightly creamy texture that doesn't last too long. It drops out to a short creamy cap. There is some lacing as the head drops out which looks nice.
Aroma: There really isn't any aroma at all. It took cupping the top of the glass and inhaling very deeply to even get a light bit of a cereal grain aroma.
Taste: A light bit of cereal grain up front with some Cheerio flavor. A light bit of a lemon lime flavor towards the middle. The citrus flavor feels weird with the cereal grain flavor, like putting a wedge of lime in a bowl of cheerios. Although the flavors don't complement each other well they are decent individually.
Mouthfeel: It has a medium to medium-light body with a smooth texture. There is a dull hop bitterness to the beer which fits.
Overall: The name of the beer is "SUMMER CRUSHER" and there is a picture of a person surfing who could be crushing waves. This is a bit of a slow drinking beer because it does have a thickness to it which is fine but don't let the name deceive you into thinking that you will be crushing this beer. It's an alright beer. I probably wouldn't buy it on its own but it works alright in a Variety pack. It's worth trying at least a single pour or can of this but be ready to move on to something else.
