This English style winter warmer is brewed with cherry, sweet orange peel, and ginger. Huge malty taste upfront with notes of English toffee and dried fruits accented by the special ingredients with a hint of spice and citrus from the hops.

Translucent ruby-brown, off-white head, good retention and lacing.
Smells like Coca-Cola, Doctor Pepper, fruitcake, all the aforementioned fruits and spices in the company description, sweet dark malts.
Taste doesn't live up to the nose. Tastes like a lite barleywine. Not bad, per se, taken at face value. Nice sweet brown malts; pumpernickel bread, caramel, honey, vanilla, hay, molasses; the spices do come in subtly after a few sips, they build slowly in the background I guess.
Medium-light feel, nice carb, feels much lighter than expected. Lacks the robust sweetness and finish I would have expected. Although it is quite drinkable, so I can't knock it too hard.
A decent winter warmer. Maybe I bashed it too hard in my description. It's a solid beer. I don't regret buying it. And I love the label!

The pour is garnet colored. The taste is sweet roasted malt, earthy herbal character, cherry, orange peel, ginger, & a hint of floral hops. Overall, this was a decent winter warmer. Cheers! A-

A nostalgic purchase because of the label/packaging. The date on the 12oz. can is 10/16/24. Poured in a rocks glass for the review.
Look- Pours a clean amber color producing a few centimeters of light tan foam that settles quickly to a ring.
Smell- Malt and some dark cherry.
Taste- Malt forward followed by subtle dark cherry, orange peel and a leathery finish.
Feel- Crisp and clean with a moderately dry finish.
Overall I'm not disappointed with my impulse purchase. Subtle taste and warmth with nothing too extreme as these holiday brews/winter warmers go. I was surprised to see this out here in Colorado. I'll be looking for it again next year!

Poured a nice ruby color with about an inch of faintly orange head. The head vanished quickly, reducing down to a skim coat. Pretty much what you'd expect for a warmer.
Obvious fruit notes on this one. You immediately detect the orange peel and cherries. Malty goodness, ginger, and spices are there too, but I appreciate that this is a fruit-forward brew. Nice change.
Flavor follows the nose. The cherries are semi-tart, but not bitter. The orange adds a tiny bit of bitterness, but mostly contributes flavor. Malts are front and center, and are balanced nicely with a little back-end hoppiness.
Medium body, low carbonation.
Overall, this is a really welcome addition to the warmer repertoire. The fruit flavors (especially the cherry and orange) isn't a combination you see often, and it's quite nice.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a brownish red color with a small head of fizzy off-white foam. The head fades rather quickly leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – the aroma is strong of a caramel and toffee sweetness mixed with a big showing of a bready malt and some toast. Along with these smells comes some apple, and cherry along with a good deal of spice, with notes of ginger, orange peel, and nutmeg. A touch of wood and fig round it all out.
Taste – the taste begins with a lightly toasted but rather malty bready flavor paired with a good showing of caramel and toffee. Some fruit of apple, cherry, and plum are in there as well, along with notes of the spices of nutmeg, ginger, and clove that were in the nose. Flavors of oak and wood develop later on, along with a light bitterness of coffee and some orange peel. Toward the end, the caramel fades a tad, all while a bit of booziness joins in, leaving one with a rather malt forward and lightly bitter sweetened taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is thick with a lower carbonation level. For the style and the tastes the feel is right and makes for a slow and warming sipper.
Overall – A pretty nice brew overall. Malty body, with some spice and sweet that are certainly present, but not overwhelming.

This Beer reminds me somewhat of Anchor Christmas Ale. It has a nice malty, roasted flavor on the back end. The cherry, orange peel and ginger are very subtle but add nicely to the taste. No sense over powering a beer with spice and flavors.
Overall this is a very good Winter Warmer.

Brew is dark brown with a lasting, thick yellowish head. Nose is musty & yeasty -- however, appealing notes of fruit emerge as the beer warms. It's medium-bodied and very smooth, almost syrupy. Appropriately for the style, the beer is toffeeish on the palate. The additions of cherry and orange peel become evident as it warms. The beer is both rich and subtle. I'm glad to have tried it.
