Cool Springs Brewery "Oud Bruin"
on tap at the brewery - 6 April 2015
Notes: Deep ruby in color. No head or lacing (possibly a dirty glass? served in a small snifter). Aroma of funky barnyard, leather, and wet wool before a background of sharp fruit. Flavor follows but adds tartness, dark fruit skins, plum, cherry, and a slight metallic edge. Occasional acidity that comes like a quick vomit in your throat - but in a good way! One of the better oud bruins that I've had from a small brewery.
