This is a barrel aged blackberry lambic. First taste I smell whiskey and taste blackberry. Appropriate given the name. I'm also picking up the taste/smell of alcohol. At 6.2 ABV I'm not surprised. That's a high abv for a lambic. The after taste tends to be on the tart side. It's very drinkable I am enjoying it. I was expecting something more complex in flavor profile but it's rather straight forward.
