It pours a dark, mahogany body, and a medium beige head with some lacing.
It has an aroma of toasted malts, caramel, yeast, and notes of plum and vanilla.
It has a rich and bittersweet taste, with roasted malts, grassy hops, coffee, caramel, dark chocolate, herbs and vanilla. The mouthfeel is medium bodied; creamy and oily, with medium bitterness and medium carbonation. The aftertaste has a lingering, grassy bitterness to it with malts and some creamy sweetness in the background.
Earthy, sweet and strong. A very enjoyable dark lager.
