Excellent session beer. Slightly sweet for my personal taste, but it is a bit off for the style if compared to the macro british pales.
Somewhat floral hops on the nose along with a bit of earth, but the smell is not too strong.
Crisp, clean, sweet but very drinkable. If you want to sit down and watch football, this is a good one to take along.

Okay with a little time off for the holidays, I've decided to do as many local brews as I could find in Charlotte. So I came across this one and was decidedly unimpressed. Part of me wanted to give it a great review because it was local, but couldn't pull the trigger. I even asked the bartender what he thought and customer opinion. It wasn't good. The only reason it seems it was on-tap was because it was local. But I heard that they haven't been able to get rid of the keg. I want to support local but this isn't the beer. I'll look for their next one to hopefully get behind.

Poured from a 22 oz bottle into a pint glass
Pours a golden amber color with a big white foamy head that slowly recedes leaving a fair amount of lacing behind.
Lots of earthy floral hops dominate the nose with a pale malt backbone. Not bad but it seems a little small.
The flavor is very nice, and well balanced. The hops are more spicy than floral. The malty base is slightly sweet with some bready notes as well. The beer is medium/light bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Very crisp and clean, and definately easy to drink.
