Into the glass this brew pours a beautiful light gold; soft off-white head has little retention and leaves little lace behind.
Smell is very light; mainly wheat, straw, lemongrass and citrus zest. Bread and herbs. Taste is very herbal and floral up front, coriander, light clove, lemongrass, wood, citrus zest. Tons of straw, wheat, bread and malt at the end. Lots going on here, hard to put my finger on most of the flavours, but the depth is very nice.
Finishes medium bodied, smooth, lightly bitter and a touch dry. Herb and spice lingers. Very good farmhouse Belgian.

I don't see any date listed on the bottle or label.
Appearance: The beer is a light straw yellow with moderate haze and a lot of visible carbonation. The head is a large, thick, white cap with a creamy consistency. Amazing retention.
Aroma: I am getting a strong wheat aroma from the beer which is nice. There is just a touch of lemon with a woody undertone. The cork of the bottle had much more hop aroma than the actual beer is delivering in the glass.
Taste: It has a fantastic combination of lemon and herbal flavors giving it a basil-like taste. It has a very characteristic Belgian IPA flavor that delivers a slightly spicy but largely herbal flavor. It would be a good substitute for an actual IPA brewed in Belgium.
Mouthfeel: It has a very smooth and slightly slick texture. It would work better if the beer were drier. As it stands the texture adds a bit of thickness or texture to the beer that is unwanted.
Overall: It feels like a work in progress but one that is headed in the right direction. While the texture of the beer leaves me wanting a drier, cleaner beer, the flavor more than makes up for it. I did not notice that the label said that it was "brewed with fresh cut lemongrass" until after I started writing my overall impression of the beer, yet I did notice it in both the aroma and flavor when this information was unknown. It is noteworthy that a beer delivers the flavors it portrays on its label. The quality of this beer as a Belgian IPA rivals both American (U.S. and Canada) and Belgian counterparts. If that means anything to you then it should come as no surprise that I would recommend buying this beer. I would like to see it again next year.

Pour: draft, perfect pour and nice white dicipated head. Lots of great lacing.
Look: golden see through edges and good carbonation.
Smell: uncooked dough. Flour and fresh cut grass. Sour and bready.
Taste: thick tea, with a smooth hop Balance. Great feel and and smooth backbone of farmstyle malt.
