This was a big beer - you definitely taste the double IPA. High-alcohol, boozy, hoppy, this is an intense brew. Aged in whiskey barrels to bring out the characteristics mentioned above, this is something they never would have tried a few years ago, and I'm glad to see experiments like this from them.
