Robust and balanced with fruity aroma and subtle spice.
The Tripel, in typical Mountain Series style, adds a whimsical Colorado ingredient to a traditional Trappist Ale. Colorado wildflower honey sweetens the pot of mildly bitter Saaz hops, while Belgian yeast fermentation brings a spicy complement to fruit aromas. Elevated carbonation and a bright golden color makes a beautiful Tripel that’s strong yet refreshing.

From the growler via Jungle Jim's Eastgate in a snifter. This decent
little tripel pours a nice deep glowing amber tinged golden with a decent
head of white foam that subsides to a thin ring, thin light pool, and shows
light lacing. Nose of candy sugars, light coriander, subtle banana, subtle
bubblegum, and astringent alcohol notes. Flavors lightly exceed the nose
with bubblegum and candy sugars and a decent banana and mango note
with light cracker and herbal hops with a touch of coriander. Nice mouth
feel; light carbonation, medium light body, smooth, lightly warming, and a
lightly sweet and spicy finish.
Overall a decent little brew from a great brewery
Cheers
