Appearance is a dark amber - nice color but odd for a porter. The nose smells like dust inside of peanut shells. The flavor has mild but definite peanut butter notes. The finish is nicely dry.
This is a good offering for what it is but there aren't any classic porter traits to this beer.

Peanut Butter Porter pours a darker, clean brown with a very small, fizzy heads, lots of bubbles; soda like. Aroma is filled with peanut butter. Flavor is creamy peanut butter, sweet. Very fizzy. Overall, ugly, with a bad feel, but great peanut butter flavor, with not much else going on.

From a can. Medium brown with an inch of light brown head. Strong peanut butter smell. Medium body and smooth feel. Tastes of peanut butter with some vanilla and caramel malt in the background. I think I like this better than the original Vanilla Porter.

Aroma is peanuts/peanut butter, chocolate and slightly thin. The flavor is peanuts/peanut butter, malts and a mildly sweet/slightly acidic finish.

On tap.
A - Burgundy brown pour and a rarity when the light passes through a Porter looking more like a dark ale.
S - Chocolate malt and peanut butter dominate the nose.
T - Light chocolate malt with subdued peanut butter.
M - Medium body that's thin around the edges.
O - The aroma is much better than the beer.

This one is actually pretty solid when in the context of Brecks other brews. Peanut flour taste is evident, could be better, Peakviews is honestly better. But this is might be the best one in the box. Its better than Dry Docks but I think Dry Docks vanilla porter is better lol. Not an offensive beer at all
