Served on-draught into a pilsner glass at Breckenridge BBQ in Denver. Reviewed from notes. Cost was $3.00 USD.
A: Pours a one finger head of beige colour, nice creaminess, nice thickness, and nice retention. Body colour is a semitransparent amber. No yeast particles are visible. No bubble show.
Sm: Fresh malt sweetness, cream, some toasted malt, and floral hops. A mild strength aroma.
T: Toasted malt with somewhat overwhelming sweetness. Floral hops are backgrounded. Cream comes through on the open and climax. It's well built, if simply so. Balanced, but a bit on the sweet end. I do like it in a general sense. Lacks complexity and subtlety, however.
Mf: Smooth and wet. Nicely thick. Overcarbonated.
Dr: Drinkability is hurt by the overcarbonation. I wouldn't get it again, but it's pretty decent - certainly above average. Hides its ABV well.

Saw this one on tap tonight at Breckenridge when we went in for the all you can eat ribs. Poured a nice dark red color, with a bit of creamy white head. Pretty standard all around, both on the nose and on the palate. Some earthy hops, sweet malt, a little caramel and an easy drinking medium body. Not bad but not much more.
