Appearance: Ruby highlighted dark brown body under an average size beige head with good lacing.
Aroma: Earthy, roasted malts, strong coffee, semi-sweet chocolate.
Taste: Caramel malt sweetness, bourbon barrel impacted flavor. Rye-like grains. Hops do not seem to be a factor.
Mouthfeel: Smooth, boozy, full bodied, lightly carbonated.
Overall: Kept on growing on me. Quite enjoyable.

This beer says "Whiskey Barrel Aged Imperial Oatmeal Stout". Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a black color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of chocolate, roasted malts. Taste is whiskey, light roasted malts, none of the chocolate in the aroma. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a solid beer.
