Revisited with a cellared 12 oz bottle (same BB date of January 2024) that seems uncontaminated. It is notably better and ratings revised upwards. However, the combo of port wine notes, berries, vanilla, whisky, etc. seems ill-advised and the result is too tart.
Previously. 12 oz bottle with a BB date of January 2024 that has been properly cellared until July 2023. Nonetheless, this seems to be a bad sample. Without any clear excuse for poor quality this deserves my low rating.

Worst beer I’ve had in memory. Like a sour porter.

Imperial Raspberry Vanilla Porter pours black with a small, long-lasting white head. The aroma is filled with raspberry. The flavor is very sweet, with medicinal raspberry notes. Good body and feel. OVerall is a big beer with big berry flavors.
