I'm glad this one wasn't overly sweet or sticky like it could have been, but they kind of went the other way instead. It's pretty faint flavor here, unlike the others in the mix pack that I bought. I think they could strike the balance better between too much and not enough. This was an ambitious flavor choice for a porter, and I think with some recipe tweaks they might be able to get there.
