Served "off menu" at Breckenridge's Colorado Craft Beer House. This self described as an Imperial Porter. It's also a collaboration of seven different breweries.
Short head but it sticks around leaving a blend of blanket and streaky web lace. Mahogany brown color where a spot of light passes.
Cocoa and chocolate are the dominating aromas.
Semisweet start featuring the aforementioned cocoa/chocolate but the hop bitterness provides a respectable balance that was not evident in the smell. The aftertaste is a perfect blend of a chile peppered milk chocolate. Rich body with a finely bubbled carbonation.
