Served in a wide flute type glass. Poured a deep copper with a big bubbled white head that quickly dissipated. Big hop aroma, lots of citrus and resiny pine. Hops dominate the flavor as well, but the bitterness is not overpowering. Solid malt base and rich mouthfeel. Alcohol is not readily apparent, making for a very drinkable beer. Nice lacing on the glass.

I am sitting at 75th Street Brewery before class doing a review. This beer was poured in a nice parfait glass (reminded me of the seasonal Michelob glasses). The beer poured a beautiful copper brown with a big 2 inch creamy head that left serious lacing down the sides of the glass. The aroma is big on citrus hops, with grapefruit and orange peel. There is also a subtle pineyness to the beer. This beer tastes great. There is a huge hop character that is to be expected, but much of the acidity that also goes along with that is gone. This beer has huge grapefruit notes with just a slightly grassy taste at the finish. There is a big malt backbone that makes this beer much more balanced then most DIPA's. Mouthfeel is full and creamy, with just a slight carbonation. Wow, I think this is the best beer that 75th Street has put out to date. It's really amazing. The boys over there are continually putting out great limited releases. I would recommended any KC BA to come out and give this baby a try.
