This oddity was shared by Alex at the April BA gathering at Goose Island, home of the new BCBS Lite.
A - Really cool bottle, if this was an awesome beer the cool bottle would make it legendary. Clear, golden/copper colored beer with a white head that settled to a ring, no real stick on the sides.
S - Honey with some grass and field notes. Little bit earthy with some sweet malt smell and yeast.
T - Very sweet like honey with some fruit and floral tastes. Kind of too sweet and light for my liking, with the malty backbone making up most of the sweetness.
M - Sticky, moderately carbonated.
O - It's an okay, beer, but too sweet and nothing special.

2006 vintage courtesy of rlcnmeyer. Shared at the April Goose Island BA Gathering. Served in a taster glass.
A - Pours with a finger of white foam that settles to a thin wispy haze of bubbles and thicker collar, but not much in the way of lacing. Hazed golden peach body.
S - Honey, floral notes, bread, maybe some cereal character. I got a faint whiff of oatmeal sweetened with honey and brown sugar.
T - Taste is a little better in that it's less cloying. Some sweetness, but more bread and barley malts, as well as some residual hop bitterness. Lightly oxidized, but not offensively so.
M - Lower carbonation, sticky medium body. There's a bit of warmth that reminds you this is a "strong" pale ale, but there's no overt alcohol flavor or burn.
D - Probably better fresh, but also probably nothing too special. Pretty easy to drink, but ultimately forgettable.

Pours a clear copper color. 1/3 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of floral hops, sweet malt, slight earthy malt, and citrus. Fits the style of a Belgian Strong Pale Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp with an average carbonation level. There is also a noticeable bitterness. Tastes of strong hops, sweet malt, slight yeast, slight citrus, and slight grain. Overall, a good body, aroma, and appearance.

On tap at the brewery. Served in a 75th St Brewery tulip. Creamy bright white head and a hazy orange body. Great stair step lacing down the glass.
Smell has a nice spicy hops with a biscuit malt backing it up. Taste has an additional mild green herb like coriander. Mild alcohol warmth, but the spicy hops takes center stage.
Mildly chewy in texture with a biting carbonation. That's a good combo, where either one by itself my not work. This had a nice warming effect for a freakishly cold day.

750ml bottle at the brewpub. This special is poured into wine glasses and is a murky orange-amber color with a medium thick light tan head that burns away slowly. Rings of lace along with spots. Aroma of bananas and cloves, with a strong sweet malt base. Medium-bodied and soft on the tongue with flavors of yeast, spices and malt intermingled with sweet passion fruit. The finish is long and spicy, with an earthy malt and fruit aftertaste. Easily the best 75th Street beer I tried that evening.

I purchased this on 01/01/08 after the 12am release at the brewery. This is the 2007 version and it is released once a year on New Years day. This beer pours a surprisingly orange with a big 2 inch, creamy, off white head that leaves sticky lacing down the entirety of the glass. The aroma is honey up front with vanilla, and green apples. The taste is raisins, sweet fruits, and a hint of roasted barley. The alcohol content has to be pretty high simply for the fact that they don't hide it very well. This beer, even though its been sitting for 8 months is still pretty hot. There is an odd after taste that reminds me of a barleywine. The mouthfeel is full and slightly astringent. This is a good beer and I will definitely be purchasing the 2008 version. I think I might let it sit just a bit longer next year.
