L- Mid-amber, clear, pours with 2mm white head. [holds well, forms lacing].
S- Quite a bright smell, reminds me of pale ale.
T- Pretty hoppy/dry, in a trad sense (no fruit notes). Now it reminds me of a trad UK pale ale.
F- It's evidently pretty light and hence sessionable if this profile is your thing. The lively hopping probably makes this better suited to summer than winter for me.
O- As^ the wrong time of year for me to be drinking a beer like this one. I didn't notice anything 'wrong or out of balance' with the beer itself though.
500ml bottle from Best of British Beer. 500ml bottle. BBL March 2022. Only now reading the lable do I notice it says it's Bottle Conditioned. There is in fact major sediment accreted on the bottom of the bottle but zero got lifted into the pour and top-ups.

500ml bottle conditioned.
L: A careful pour produces a clear, amber coloured ale with persistent clouds of micro bubbles. The thin, white head leaves sheets of lacing.
S: Sweet, malty goodness.
T: Malt flavours are fruity but very light. Hops are leafy and bitter. There is a hint of citrus for interest, but not much. Solid bitterness.
F: Very light body, kind of thin. Dry finish.
O: An English bitter with typical toasted malt flavours dialled well down. Ends up one dimensional and bland. Not as refreshing or zesty as it wants to be.

Poured into a standard straight pint glass.
Appearance: Pale amber, lots of yeasty sediment at the bottom thanks to the bottle conditioning, poured a little into the glass to make it cloudier. Absolutely incredible champagne like carbonation on this, the head is fluffy and will not stop growing! Leaves behind a bit of lacing.
Smell: Little bit of breadiness from the malt, strong hops too, citrus and pine. Slightly solvent but overall pleasant.
Taste: Surprisingly quite a light brew sort of almost Lagery but the hops from the ale are there to bring it back in line. Unfortunately its so so fizzy I thinks it negates some of the flavour. finishes with a dry snap in the back of the mouth, quite refreshing.
Mouth-feel: As above, the carbonation is very strong and actually feels quite rough on the palate. It doesn't ruin the experience, it's just...unusual. Body is light to medium.
Overall: An interesting Ale and one that I would buy again.
