Full-bodied, strong with a striking bitter finish. A big beer brimming with hop character.
Brewed using the highest quality Pale ale, Maris Otter, Wheat, Crystal and Cara malts and hopped with a blend of English Goldings, Challenger and Fuggles whole hops. A proper English IPA.

Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country, zero reviews below read (yet!)…
L- Deep copper, pours clear. 1Cm mid-tan head. ps 5mins later, holds very well.
S- Good quite deep roasty malts (trad).
T- Quite hoppy dry then vibrant malts and notably dry brush on the palate into the finish.
F- Square on my idea of trad IPA. It also reminds me of why I drank Bitter as a you and not such IPA's, the bold hopping of the latter was too pungent for me to have as my 'Usual'.
O- Nice having a solid trad British beer, doing just that very well. Nothing contemporary, weird or over-clever that I register going on. Probably still a bit too hoppy for me to make a regular but I'd certainly drink it again.
Review/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the bottle lables to see what I missed! Gluten below 10ppm, I know this matters to some. 5.5% ABV.
500ml bottle BB: March/2022. £2.41 Bought from BeersOfEurope, King's Lynn/UK as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.

500ml, bottle-conditioned. Pours a reddish-amber, thick lasting head. Impressive. Aroma is caramel , treacly malts. Taste same with well-balanced hop. Mouthfeel is syrupy. Overall: hop flavours are muted, well-balanced beer, good mouthfeel.
