Refreshing and drinkable defines McCoy’s Unfiltered Wheat. The appearance is cloudy straw color and the aroma is of faint wheat and barley malt, it is very subtle. Super fresh and clean, mellow body with a nice little texture from the wheat that gives it a real nice quality and makes for some super easy drinkin'! Refreshingly mellow, solid playful texture, and just plain Ol' good!

Served with a lemon wedge that I quickly removed.

A - Poured a cloudy, straw yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It left little to no lacing. Typical of the style.

S - Not alot of aroma. There is some wheat, yeast and grains but it is all muted.

T - Not much taste either. Wheat with some mild citrus and a yeasty bite.

M - It was very crisp, sharp and smooth. A light bodied ale with a dry finish.

O - This is an okay beer. Not offensive, but it didn't deliver a strong flavor of any kind.

Pour is a white yellow color with a fluffy, fuzzy head. There isn't much happening in the nose - a little odd for a wheat beer. So, i guess its very clean in the nose.

This beer has a lot of potential. There is a nice sweet and mellow wheat flavor happening in this beer - but its hidden under layers of water. If this beer were a brewed with a little more care, I think it would be excellent. The recipe is good - just too watered down.

I may have had a bad batch - but for my tastes, this is not worth repeating.
