Hops, hops and more hops are what make an I.P.A. an I.P.A. Complex aroma balanced with smooth, rich malt. Our IPA is hopped in the kettle and dry-hopped as well to add a refreshing resiny, citrus aroma and flavor.

this is quality and well made beer, but i am not in love with the recipe. to me, it tastes like what was fashionable ten or twenty years ago, more of a malty and sort of grainier ipa, designed to balance the more intense hop bitterness, but it ends up overcompensating i think, and the hops have more bitter than flavor, which results in a beer that i can drink by the pitcher but dont end up liking all that much. deeper brass even almost copper colored, and there is that crystal malt body and sweetness here that takes away from the hops. its also got a hop profile that has some pine and some spice, almost a cascade complexion, ctz too maybe, but is more bitter than anything else, real high alpha, and super familiar. its a timeless hop flavor, but it seems not as fresh, forward, or interesting as what is more on trend these days. i know they have reworked this one once or twice, but i still think it could use another updating, it just seems forgotten about, tired, i dont know, its lackluster despite being good. one of the least exciting beers these guys do im afraid.
