McCoy's 15th Anniversary Belgian Quad.
Growler shared with 2 friends, served into mini snifters.
A- Pours a deep brown, with chestnut highlights when held up to light. It has virtually no head and no visual signs of carbonation.
S- Smells very sweet with hints of light roasted coffee, and chocolate. Spicy Belgian yeast.
T- Lots of deep roasted malt flavor. Hints of chocolate and light coffee. The 9.5 percent ABV is hidden quite well.
M- Rich and thick. Virtually no carbonation.
O- A decent Quad. Has more hints of a Imperial Stout than a Quad, but worth checking out to celebrate McCoy's 15 years in Westport.
