A- Pours hazy, darker shade of gold, almost amber. Large white head on top, sticks around for quite a while.
S- Bit of floral and citrus hop aroma. Some sweet malts to it. Maybe a hint of honey.
T- Piney hop flavor mixed with sweet malts. Flavors are a bit muted though. Still get a touch of honey flavor with some small spice to it.
M- Lighter body. A little more carbonation than would have liked.
O- Not to bad. Refreshing drink. Nothing overly great though. Would like the hops to come through more on the taste. Still I'll drink some more and support a nice small Hoosier brewery!

12oz brown bottle with no freshness date.
LOOK: Big crown of head, dim yellow straw color.
SMELL: Catty, botanical, husky grain, yeast, exotic fruit.
TASTE: Catty hops, very bitter, tree bark, leafy, passion fruit, dry maltiness, citric rind, yeast, dry finish.
Seems Bee Creek went all out with the hops here, a bit off kilter but if they were not looking for balance then they achieved their goal. A tad more body and malt flavor would have worked but it is still a good sip for any true hop head.

pours cloudy dark gold with a 2 finger pillowy head that had good retention and left lacing all over the glass
smells of citrus hops a little pine and a little malt
taste - good amount of spice from the hops kinda earthy less citrus then what i got in the nose and the pine and malt are nonexistent - still decent though
mouthfeel is very light body with heavy carbonation - this screams pounder ipa on a hot summer day
overall - this beer is not going to win any awards but i could see this as a starter ipa for people wanting to get into craft beer - next time i am in indy i will try another bee creek brew

Nice dark golden color with some decent head and decent lacing. Nice deep hoopy aroma, with a lot of pine and citrus battling for surpremecy; a nice semi-deep two row backing. Same for the flavors, would be better for them to differentiate (flavor, aroma, bitter) instead of battling, but it is still a good flavorable beer. Slight hop roughness, but still an easy drinking beer. Could see this as an APA, as previous reviewer stated, but could go either way.

This arrived today, 6.0% with 70 IBUs. It pours a pale gold in color with moderate turbidity. It doesn't look like any IPA I've seen before, minus Belgians. It actually looks most like Hair of the Dog Ruth, the palest pale ale I've ever seen. The aromas consist of honey, pale malts, and light hops. It instantly reminds me of their Honey Wheat, yet slightly hoppy. It tastes of light, light holps, slightly sweet pale malt, and honey. There isn't much complexity and it is pretty weak for an IPA. It drinks pretty smoothly and doesn't have great carbonation. The body is a little different, and isn't as light as t could be. It's odd but it adds to the beer in nice way. Overall this is weak IPA, definitely not as hoppy as it should be, but is refreshing and drinks light. It's a solid beer, but it probably should be classified as a pale ale, not an IPA.
