On tap at Tony's Darts Away in Burbank, CA.

Pours a clear yellow with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. A foamy curtain of lace coats the glass on the drink down. Smell is sour with malt, grain, fruit, funk, acidic, white wine, and wood aromas. Taste is much the same with sour malt, fruit, white wine, funk, and wood flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp and dry mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer with a tasty white wine barrel aging from what I can tell.

Serving type: on tap.

Cask at Stone Liberty Station during SDBW, Bourbon Brett Tripel I believe was the description. Notes taken for review.

A- Golden orange cask to goblet pour. Foamy white head to about a finger and good retention with a frothy texture. Legs but only a few lace spots as I consume the brew.

S- Distinct brett funk and cherry pie lemon sours immediately. Good funky horse barnyard, apple, light grapes, nice oak and slight vanilla whiskey, very small hint of the Bourbon itself. Mostly fruits and funk.

T- Barrel comes into play more, vanilla and fresh oak wood compliments the funky fruity Brett with just a bit of Bourbon whiskey. Lemon peel, lactic acid but not really super tart, pineapple tangerine, belgian yeast spices and fruit, pepper raisin, herbal. Quite the range of flavors.

MF- Cask watery body with the obvious lack of carbonation and warm temperature. Finishes a bit bitter and funk lingers on the palate.

Pungent Brett and a nice hint of Makers' barrels. Some tripel and spicy Belgian yeast influence. Very unique mix of flavors for me but well done.
