Unless I was tasting this side by side with the regular Ladyface , I’d be hard pressed to find the major intended differences. Great Woody aromas, slightly sweet and a touch boozy. Creamy cask mouthfeel.. the taste is just okay. Mild hop presence, but very bitterfinish. I’m gstting some oak, but was hard-pressed to find any trace of the “whiskey-soaked” part. Just “oak-ay” for me.. lol.
