A confusing name, no doubt. Second week with a Cask featuring Chesebro Imperial with different experimental (unidentified) hop varieties. This one is not nearly as good as the experimental from late November. Strong notes of strawberry and stone fruit make me curious about what hop this could be and where it originates, but it doesn’t work with the powerful hop profile of the Chesebro and doesn’t successfully combat that bitterness when at Cask temp. Worth comparing to the original Chesebro, but not great in my opinion.
