I was reeeeaally looking forward to having this beer. I made the trip on a Thursday, just to make sure I hada chance to try it. It was very disappointing.
App- Much darker than the original PCP. no carbonation present (obviously its Cask).little bit of bubbles.
Ar- ANISE, BLK LICORICE!!!
T- ANISE, BLK LICORICE!! nothing else. Drain pour all the way.
Mf- significant rich textture up front, then flat in the finish.
D- not drinkable... AT ALL!!!
The anise was over cooked. Too dominant, couldn't enjoy the beer.
