Sampled on my way to homebrew fest 4/30/10
Pours hazy and brown with a hint of red in it. White head and decent lacing and retention.
Aroma is heavy on the chilis. Some maltiness but the chili is a bit over the top (a little frightening).
Flavor is mellow and not overpowering thank goodness. Not sure what kind of peppers were used but there is some vegetable flavor as well as some malty and caramel flavors. There is even a hint of Belgian yeast. Low to moderate spiciness.
Body is medium and the beer is plenty drinkable but I'm not sure what food/drink it would pair well with.
