From a bottle brought by the brewers to Oakquinox
A: The pour is a hazed golden color with a small white head on top.
S: Big time wine aroma, and especially a lot of white grapes. There's a mild sweetness to it, but a nice brettiness. The Sauvignon Blanc is a nice choice of barrel and adds a little extra "wildness" and funk to the aroma.
T: Mildly funky and tart. Like the nose, there is a very prominent wine character, which also adds a touch of sweetness. Some grassy funk character along with the nice oak contribution.
M: Medium in body with a moderate level of carbonation.
O: Really a nice beer and probably the best of all of the wine barrel aged beers I've had from Ladyface.
