A - pretty dark red with a thick white-ish head and nice lacing

S - Almost entirely hops in the nose, smells basically like a citrusy DIPA

T - When it's cold the taste mostly follows the nose, with big floral and citrus notes. As it warms the malt comes out and shines, a really interesting caramel sweetness with almost a sort of pie crust pleasant breadiness. the finish is nicely bitter and dry.

M - not too heavy but definitely not light, it drinks well for its high abv.

O - a very cool and interesting brew. Drinks a lot like a DIPA when it's cold, and as it warms it moves into maltier Imp. Red territory. I like it a lot both ways, another winner from Ladyface. The hop blend and the malt bill are both unique. highly recommended.

Released on May 16th. Tasted on May 19th.

An Imperial Red brewed with Falconer's Flight hop blend (Citra, Simcoe, Sorachi Ace).

A: Pours a clear, dark copperish amber with a fine 1 finger thick white head which leaves nice lace rings.

S: Nose is immense floral and citrus. Grapefruit dominates with some lemon and pine notes also. Really nice here.

T: Carmel sweet malts with a slight roastyness. Hoppy pine and citrus/grassy blend well. A note of grains. Dry and bitter finish.

M: Fairly robust with the ABV.

O: Enjoyed a couple pints. Would certainly have again.
