Cask of the week. La Grisette with sage, rosemary & thyme.
Reviewed as a herbed/spiced style. Base beer is a farmhouse style.
A: Pours a hazy straw-yellow with a thin (1/4") fine white head which leaves spots of lace.
N: Well, let's start with sage, rosemary & thyme. Faint lemon and mildly tart.
T; Deja vu? Sage, rosemary & thyme. Plus some tart, lemony wheat and malts.
M: Semi-moderate body and hand pumped carbonation. Herbal with sage the dominant component on the finish.
O: Why partial Garfunkel? Because nobody eats parsley. Thanks John.
