Waggin' the Dog is a refreshing West Coast style IPA brewed with White Wheat, Flaked Oats, Golden Promise, and Rahr Pale Malt. Bittered with Chinook and Cascade and dry hopped with Citra and Amarillo, there is nothing to see here, other than a great beer!

Pours a beautiful copper in color with a thin layer of white foam atop. A little lacing on the glass as you drink. Carbonation looks strong. Aroma is a delicious blend of sweet, honey, caramel malts with a strong, floral, pine and citrus bouquet of hops shining through with just a hint of alcohol and spice. Mmm. Taste follows the nose quite well; a nice balance of sweet, toasty malts and dank, bitter, piney and citrusy hops. I would say it's a bit more malty up front and finishes crisp and bitter with lingering grapefruit rind on the tongue. Mouthfeel is perfect. Medium bodied with zesty carbonation, some chewiness and a bit of bite. Goes down easy. There's lots of complexity to be savored here, but at the surface it's just a tasty, refreshing, classic American IPA.
