Mexican Pilsners came from German immigrants migrating to Mexico in the 1900s. This beer is a celebration of that heritage. El Valiente is flavorful and refreshing. It is perfect for Carne Asadas and Fiestas! Salud!

Not sure why this is listed as a ‘light lager.’ First, the abv is 5.2%. Second, there is a noticeable, balanced presence of hops that contributes an important part of the overall flavor profile. I think it drinks more like a variety of German pils. It’s crisp, with a discernible, honeyed malt character, that makes it both easy to drink and characterful. Recommended.
