This is an IPA with bite; it's strong, and I feel it after drinking a pint. The flavor is good, though – it's not hoppy for the sake of winning the how-hoppy-can-you-go battle. Not bad. I'll have more.
(As always, I rate "look" for label/container design, not the look of the beer inside; I'm an artist and designer.)

Dark gold draft pour with white head; decent cap and better than average lace. Earthy hop aroma. Bitter earthy hop flavor with some caramel malt backbone. Medium lite mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. A solid pale ale.

Appearance- a very foggy amber color. Nice thick creamy head
Smell- mild pine, citrus, and floral fragrances.
Taste- slight citrusy taste with a bready and a bitter finish.
Mouthfeel- smooth mouthfeel with mild carbonation.
Overall- I really enjoy this beer. I like how small and intimate the brewery is and since I work so close I will be getting my growler filled often. Update: I got another growler of this today and I've had a variety of APA's since trying this for the first time. I have to say this is a solid pale and it reminds me of Lagunitas New Dogtown. This is a nice brew.

From a growler purchased at the brewery into a 21st Ammendment chalice.
Cloudy amber - almost red - unfiltered.
This is a very unique IPA. Lacking the strong citrus taste and feel typical of West Coast IPAs it imparts a beautiful array of tastes ranging from flowery to spicy.
Very enjoyable and looks great in my chalice.
Once in a lifetime for me but if you get a chance, give them a shot. I really enjoyed supporting a small operation and meeting the real Lil Chief.

Hazy, unfiltered glowing amber body with a dense head that leaves scattered lacing. Really nice citrusy hop nose, pineapple and mandarin orange up front, little bit of rye bread-like spiciness and earthy flavors beneath. Tastes pretty damn good, too; pineapple, tangerine, little bit of guava toward the finish. Mildly malty, this has a substantial body but finishes dry, fairly crisp and sharply bitter. Very enjoyable stuff.
