Poured nice and golden with little head from a growler. Nice looking beer. Smells of cinnamon and nutmeg, very nice. Taste follows up, this quite a tasty holiday brew. More than worth a try.

Glass rim laced with cinnamon/nutmeg.

apperance: Pours a clear, healthy golden color with moderate carbonation.

smell: Sweet and spicy (mainly from the spices on the rim), more difficult to discern the scent of the beer.

taste: Begins fresh and clean with a moderate hop taste than blend well with the cinnamon, slight toastiness to the malts, finishes clean.

drinkability: While the sweetness of the spices somewhat overshadows the notes of the beer, it also helps to bring out some of its subtle notes, but nothing to wow-over.

A very nice blonde ale winter wamer. Pours a very nice straw color, although with little head and lacing. Great scent, a nice sweet maltiness with a wonderful cinnamon and nutmeg aroma, highlighted by German noble hops. Excellent warming flavor with a nice malt background; excellent spices (cinnamon and allspice). Goes down very smoothly. They serve it with cinnamon and sugar around the rim of the pint glass which adds a unique sweet flavor, but you can get it without. (This is their blonde ale seasoned for the season, which I found made the original beer even better.)
