This Belgian beer is a complex marriage of distinctive spice, fruit, and alcohol. Brewed with bitter and sweet orange peel as well as coriander, this super charged Abbey ale has a spicy drying character and long lasting brilliant white head. Medium bodied and intense. Careful with this one, it is best enjoyed in moderation!

Served with an orange wedge.
appearance: pours a healthy golden yellow, heavily carbonated, with light bubbles, foamy white head with similar lacing.
smell: citrus aroma emanates from the beer as well as the orange, hops are light & floral, slight yeastiness is notable.
taste: without the orange, tangy, yeasty, and fresh, milder than expected for 9.0% abv, finishes with a tangy bitterness; using the orange infuses citrus characteristics and bring out the more floral hop aspects.
drinkability: strong yet dynamic, very drinkable, and with a 9.0 abv, it does not come off strong in an alcohol taste which is a good thing, would be wary to have more than a couple in one sitting, but very drinkable all the same.

Pours a very nice cloudy golden color with a bit of nice head and a bit of nice lacing. Very nice scent; sweet and malty; a very, very tiny spiciness in the nose; hints of sugarplum as well. Excellent taste; sweet and malty with a tiny hop bite at the end; slight spiciness and fruitiness mingling together, making it a very interesting and hard to pin-point taste. Goes down exceedingly well with a nice jolt of alcohol heat that doesn't take away from the flavor.
