Brewed with a traditional Munich lager yeast, Dauntless is a copper colored malt forward salute to the Oktoberfest celebration taking place in Germany every year since 1810. Tettnang and Hallertauer hops compliment the malt flavors by adding subtle, spicy hop notes. Malty, smooth and eminently drinkable.

Canned on 8/3/2022. Poured from 12 oz. can into a seidel mug. It pours a cloudy, honey-copper color with a full finger of foamy eggshell colored head and lacing. It's highly effervescent. It smells of biscuit, caramel, and roasted nuts. The taste balances fairly sweet, caramel malt against surprisingly bitter, earthy, nutty char. It's dryer and not as bready as I expected. I have to say the flavor is a bit harsh. It's moderate in body and well-carbonated, and the 5.8% ABV is totally appropriate. Overall, the can is over a year old and it may have suffered climatically because it seems overly bitter and lacks the depth of flavor I had hoped for.

Light amber with a thick, vanilla-coloured head. Slightly caramel malt scent. Sweet grain malt, caramel malt earthy, slightly nutty flavor. A nice body and not overly sweet. Not bad at all.

i may have been a beneficiary of right beer right time stoke, but sometimes a beer just hits the spot, and this one sure did for me. we were making a big pot of chili, carving pumpkins, and getting in the fall spirit, and a cold bottle of this was exactly what the doctor ordered. its a bright brassy orange beer, crystal clear and foamy headed, with a ton of bubbles in it. aroma and flavor show classic marzen lager qualities of earthy, nutty, and caramelized grain, a fresh baked hearty aspect, a bright minerality, and the crackery german lager yeast. it makes me want a bavarian pretzel and another ten bottles or so. its crisp for how rich the flavor is, dried in the finish, and the mineral aspect helps with that, punchy and refreshing carbonation too, european malty aftertaste, but not sweet. slight dried apple and orange notes in this makes it a little more complex than most, but just sensationally easy drinking. i have been back and forth on north peak beers before, but this one is a standout for me. very traditional and very good.

This is a solid entry in the American Oktoberfest-style beers. It has a great malt character, and a clean finish. Delicate hops profile rounds it out nicely, without being too bitter. I'd give it another go!

From the nice stubby cool 12 oz bottle in a snifter. This decent little
fest pours a nice and clear golden amber with a nice head of white foam
that settles down to a thick ring, thin light layer, and shows some nice
sudsy lacing. Nose of honey malts, breaded malts, light grain notes, and
subtle toast. Flavors exceed the nose with a nice caramel and medium breaded
malt flavor mixed nicely with honey and mild grain notes with a touch of herbal
hops on the back. Very well balanced and quaffable. Medium light body, medium
carbonation that is refreshing and lively, and a sweet yet crisp finish.

Overall another solid little brew from a great brewer.

Cheers

I really get a kick out of the stubby throwback bottles from this brewery. The beer itself is an amber-gold color, clear, with a thin white head. The aroma is lightly malty, clean. The taste is balanced...bready, not much hop flavor, and clean finish. Medium in body, with a lightly sweet finish.
