Draft pour at the brewery's gastropub in Traverse City, Michigan.
Appearance. A superb, creamy beige head with great retention suits over a near black but clear body with orange-brown edges.
Moderately bitter with plenty of dark roasted grain notes and a bit of burnt toast in the aftertaste.
