Says its brewed "Up North" on the front of the label and says its "brewed and bottled" in Dexter on the side. Well either way, a pretty decent pale ale. Drinking straight from the bottle because, its a nice bottle; red stripe style bottle. Good PA, would buy it again.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 10/22/2015. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate amount of pine/grassy/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, lemon/orange peel, light pepper, pine, light caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky, and lightly creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good standard tasting American pale ale. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
