From a stubby little, throwback-style bottle, this brew is a hazy, amber-orange color with a small white head. The aroma has fruit and citric hop notes and a little oat grain scents. The taste is equally fruity with a solid bitterness. Smooth, balanced, well made. I'm not sure that the combination works as well as others, but still worthwhile.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 11/30/2017. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper/pine, wheat, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper/pine, wheat, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper/pine, wheat, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.7%. Overall this is an excellent NEIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; extremely smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish, never aggressive. Great balanced juicy/dank hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with mild residual sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. Stormy is still the best one, but this is more accurate on the style than the past few on the level of bitterness and lingering dryness.

12oz bottle. Poured out a cloudy/murky golden orange color with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled of orange, pine and toasted caramel. It tasted of grapefruit, orange, pine and some sweet toasted caramel.
